I’m a picture maker navigating between the quiet horizon lines of Alentejo, Portugal, and the rhythmic verticality of New York City.
I hold the MFA Illustration as Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts NYC, possible by the Fulbright Scholarship.
In my toolbox I carry a multitude of colors, shapes and textures, found objects, stencils, brushes, made-up tools and an ever expanding constellation of inspirations.
My practice is guided by the joy of making, whether that be a spot illustration, a page, a poster, a book or a space.
